In this brilliant Engagement, fought off Cape S.^t Vincents, Feb.^y 14. 1797, Commodore now Adm.^l Lord Nelson, leaping into the Quarter Gallery, of the San Nicholas, of 80 Guns, under a heavy fire from all parts of the Ship, forced the Enemies Cabbin Door, and pursuing them to their Quarter Deck, Carried the Ship instantly, the Spanish Commodore laying dead at his feet, Followed by Capt.ⁿ Berry, who boarding by the poop, had haul'd down the Spanish Colours in face of the Crew; Adm.^l Nelson dash'd on board the S.^t Joseph of 112 Guns, which immediately resigning her Admiral's Sword, Shuck to the daring intrepidity of the British Hero.  Dans cette Affaire Memorable qûi eut lieu le 14 Feb.^r 1797 aupres du Cap S.^t Vincent, entre la flotte Espagnole de 27 Vaisseaux de ligne, & une flotte Anglaise de 15. Alors le Com: Nelson, avec le Capt.^ne Berry, borde d'une intrepiditè, don't il n'yà point d'exemple, le San Josef, de 112 Cannons, & a peine eût il montè le Pont, que l'Epeè de l'Adm.^l Espagnole aussi que le Vaisseau ne lui fut entierement rendûes.
